The Work

People love the *idea* of a powerful, autonomous birth where they are the TOTAL director of their experience, but when it comes right down to it, folks usually aren’t aware of the deep, soul-shaking, life transforming WORK it takes to get to that outcome.

And even if some piece of them is aware of it, there is often a resistance to doing that work (probably because it can be fucking HARD...but also filled with grace and magic). When you aren’t ready to do this work, it seems “easier” to “just” go with what appears to be middle ground, or what option you’ve been told ensures some type of safety.

If you’re wavering in this space of choices, I implore you go dig into the abyss—mostly inside of yourself.
What do you really believe about birth and life?? And how committed are you to working through the challenges and obstacles that come up as you navigate actualizing a pregnancy + birth that embodies those beliefs?

There is no room for compromise in authentically autonomous Birth.
Do the work.
Birth in power.
